The next summer can come: 45 flights per week from 5 airlines to 9
destinations, including Djerba (Tunisia), a new vacation destination.
Saarbrücken Airport is publishing its flight schedule with popular destinations to coincide with the start of bookings for the coming summer season at
.

Spanish destinations remain the top vacation destinations; Palma de
Mallorca with 14 flights per week and Fuerteventura and Las Palmas on Gran Canaria
with one flight per week each. They are closely followed by Antalya and Izmir with a total of eleven flights
per week. Turkey thus remains the second pillar of SCN's vacation flights.

A new addition to the summer flight schedule is the vacation island of Djerba off the Tunisian coast, which is known for its
picturesque Mediterranean beaches and will be served by weekly flights in future.
Accessibility to another popular island is also being improved: the flight frequency
to Heraklion on Crete is being increased from two to three flights per week.

May 2024 is the month of special flights at Saarbrücken Airport. Three
offers are available exclusively from Saarbrücken: Horst Becker Touristik GmbH from Spiesen-
Elversberg is opening with Faro in the Portuguese Algarve and Paphos in Cyprus. And
with Tirana, the up-and-coming vacation region of Albania is being offered for the first time with a special flight
operated by Mundo Reisen GmbH.

"The available summer connections from Saarbrücken Airport will ensure that
remains attractive for travelers in the coming year," says Mobility Minister Petra Berg.
"Holiday destinations that would otherwise mean a longer journey to Frankfurt or other airports
can also be reached conveniently and via shorter routes in Saarbrücken."

The domestic destinations Berlin (11 flights/week) and Hamburg (3 flights/week), which are particularly important for companies and city tourism
