Noise protection

Saarbrücken Airport permanently monitors aircraft noise in the region and operates 4 stationary aircraft noise monitoring systems in the vicinity of the airport for this purpose. The aircraft noise measurement records the noise events of the individual aircraft and thus allows long-term documentation to determine the aircraft noise pollution. A noise protection box is available at Saarbrücken Airport for engine test runs by the local maintenance companies.
