Turkish vacation destinations are booming. Saarbrücken Airport is launching its 2024 summer timetable with its largest ever range of flights to Antalya and Izmir, and flights can already be booked.

The "Turkish Riviera" and "Turkish Aegean" are among the most important vacation regions of the summer season. It is not only families or classic relaxation seekers who opt for the varied offers and modern accommodations, but increasingly also active vacationers, such as golf enthusiasts, or sports clubs and teams traveling to training camps.

Due to the high demand, Saarbrücken Airport has therefore included its largest ever range of flights to Turkish destinations in its new summer timetable:

• As of March '24, two airlines, SunExpress (7 departures/week) and Corendon Airlines (2 departures/week), will be flying to Antalya on the "Turkish Riviera". While SunExpress only gradually increased its services from four departures/week to the current level in the summer season '23, the summer flight schedule '24 already includes daily flights of the airline at the beginning. This is proof that demand from Saarbrücken is expected to remain high.
• The destination Izmir, part of the "Turkish Aegean", is served twice a week by SunExpress.

With a total of eleven departures per week, Turkey remains Saarbrücken Airport's second pillar for vacation flights. Only Mallorca will be served more frequently due to the continuing high demand. The final 2024 summer flight schedule will be published shortly and will be valid from March 31 to October 26, 2024.
