Travel
preparations

The better you prepare for your trip, the more relaxed you can be. There are a few things to consider in advance:

  • Inform yourself in advance about the entry requirements of the destination country.
  • Observe the country-specific travel and safety information of the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • Check the validity of your identity cards or passports for all fellow travelers.
  • If you are taking children for whom you do not have custody, you always need written confirmation from the parents.
  • Check your airline's conditions of carriage, especially on the allowable size, number and contents of your travel and carry-on baggage.
  • Pack your luggage and hand luggage according to the regulations in force
  • If you need special assistance or services at the airport, please contact your airline in advance.
  • We recommend the online check-in of your airline. With this, you can create your boarding passes yourself and print them out at home or save them on your smartphone. For information on whether online check-in is possible with your airline, please contact your airline.
