Saarbrücken-Tuzla scheduled flight connection inaugurated: welcoming ceremony for first aircraft
Today (20.12.), the airline Lumiwings was welcomed with the traditional first flight ceremony at Saarbrücken Airport. The airline is now operating the scheduled flight connection between Saarbrücken and Tuzla - with a larger aircraft than originally planned due to the high number of bookings.
With the landing of the first Lumiwings aircraft on December 20 at 4:40 p.m., the scheduled flight route between Saarbrücken and Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) begins its service. The airport welcomed the aircraft in the traditional manner.
Due to persistently high booking figures, the airline is deploying a Boeing 737-700 scheduled aircraft with 149 seats instead of the Embraer E190 regional jet (118 seats) originally planned for the route until further notice.
The airline Lumiwings operates the route twice a week. On Wednesdays the plane takes off from Saarbrücken at 17:20, on Saturday mornings it leaves for Tuzla at 09:55. The return flights from Tuzla take place on Wednesdays at 14:25 and Saturdays at 07:00. The flight time is just under two hours.
