The first aircraft from Pristina landed at Saarbrücken Airport in the early morning of July 22. The airport fire department traditionally welcomed the Airbus of the Croatian airline Trade Air with a water fountain. From now on, MyWings Aviation, which is operated by the Croatian airlines Trade Air and ETF Airways, will fly up to four times a week from SCN to Pristina.
The capital of the Republic of Kosovo is the largest city and municipality of the state with over 145,000 inhabitants. It is located east of central Kosovo in the historical landscape of Blackbird Field. The city is surrounded by the fertile plains of this region, only in the east rise the hills of Zhegoc.
Several impressive mosques characterize the image of the old town. Pristina still has the charm of old times with its old buildings and traditional markets. But more and more you can find hip and modern cafes, theaters and art.
However, the flight offer is primarily aimed at interested parties who want to visit family and friends as well as employees who come from the region and live and work in the catchment area of Saarbrücken Airport.
