With the start of the Easter vacations, it goes to numerous vacation destinations

With the start of the Saarland Easter vacations tomorrow (Thursday), there will be flights from Saarbrücken Airport to numerous attractive vacation destinations. The Balearic island of Mallorca is once again on the daily schedule. Eurowings already operates the route, and from May SmartLynx will again be flying to Palma de Mallorca.

"We are looking forward to the upcoming summer season, the great desire to travel among our passengers and especially to having Tenerife back in our flight schedule this year," says SCN Managing Director Thomas Schuck. He sees the airport well prepared for strong demand for the nine summer destinations and up to 60 weekly flights.

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is especially popular with hikers and mountain bikers in the spring. It is served by SmartLynx. The airline will again take over all flights for TUI Deutschland in 2022 with an Airbus A320 stationed at SCN. The Canary Islands Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura have already been served for several months.

The Turkish Riviera has also been a destination from SCN again for some time. Corendon Airlines takes off three times a week for Antalya. And since April 10, SunExpress, a regular guest, has been flying five times a week on the route. Corendon Airlines flies to Hurghada on the Red Sea once a week.

The summer flight schedule again includes the Greek islands this season. SmartLynx will fly to Crete twice a week and to Kos and Rhodes once a week. From May 5, there will also be twice-weekly flights to Heraklion with Corendon Arilines.
